This policy explains what NECTAR LEGAL NAME ("Nectar", "we") collects on this website and in the Nectar Term application, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to https://nectarinsure.com and to the quote and application flow linked from it.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, mobile number, state of residence.
- Quote and application answers: date of birth, sex, height and weight, tobacco and health questions, occupation, income range, coverage and term choices, beneficiary details, and the answers to your needs analysis, including family members you add to a plan.
- Verification data: the one-time codes we text or email to confirm it is you, and whether they were used.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the links you click, collected through standard server logs and, if enabled, a privacy-respecting analytics tool.
- Messages you send us through the account page or by email.
We do not collect payment card details on this site. Premiums are paid to the issuing insurer.
How we use it
- To calculate an estimated price and show your approval odds.
- To prepare and submit your application to the insurer that issues Nectar Term policies for your profile.
- To create your Nectar account, verify your identity with a one-time code, and let you return to your quote.
- To follow up about your quote by email or text, including reminders, until you opt out or your application is complete.
- To answer your questions and to meet our legal and licensing obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with other agencies, lead buyers or advertisers.

Who we share it with
- The issuing insurer for your policy, which needs your application to underwrite and issue coverage, and which has its own privacy notice.
- Service providers that send our texts and emails and host our systems, under contracts that limit them to working for us.
- Regulators and courts when the law requires it.
Texts and emails
By giving us your mobile number you agree to receive texts about your quote and application. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. We never send marketing texts to a number that has opted out.
Cookies and storage
This site stores your in-progress application and your theme choice in your browser so a refresh does not lose your work. It sets no advertising cookies. If analytics are enabled, they count visits without identifying you.
How long we keep it
Quote and application records are kept as long as needed to service your policy and to meet insurance record-keeping laws, which in most states require several years. You can ask us to delete your account and quote at any time if no policy has been issued.
Your choices and rights
You can see, correct or delete the information in your account by signing in or by writing to henry@nectarinsure.com. Residents of states with privacy laws, including California, may have additional rights to know, delete and limit the use of their information; write to us and we will honor them.
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children, except the first name and age of a child you choose to add to a family plan.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy here with a new date at the top of the page.
